the spa pool was rusty, absolutely delightful for my relaxation, and the mouldy kettle in the room? a charming touch, really. i expected at least a complimentary upgrade for these shocking inconveniences, but alas, just another regular stay, i suppose. nearly wrote a glowing review, but just couldn’t bring myself to do it.

Rooms could use a thorough cleaning and better maintenance!!! The facilities lack necessary kitchen equipment and the shower setup leaves much to be desired!!! Fixing the television would go a long way as well!!!

during my stay, I loved how easy it was to walk to the spa thermal pools and enjoy a relaxing soak after a day of exploring the nearby Otumuheke Stream and scenic park areas, making it a perfect base for my weekend adventures.

Charming chalet, comfortable atmosphere, we enjoyed the lovely outdoor dining area overlooking a babbling brook while savouring our morning coffee, and the complimentary wi-fi made it easy to plan our day of hiking nearby.

Family with children suitable get away
The place was superbly placed capturing the morning sunlight through the windows and the spa pool was like a treat after long day, pure relaxation and bliss for the family! Loved that it felt tranquil away from the noise but still close enough to some hiking trails, which we enjoyed walking.
It wasn't cheap but it was still acceptable for a family outing.
